The small size of the BASIC 1 makes it suitable for bedside use, in a Doctor's office or as a mobile service where space is at a premium. The 7" WVGA colour TFT touch screen means the BASIC 1 is easy to operate with no fiddly buttons or complicated sub menus. BASIC 1 is a portable mains operated device. The BASIC 1 is a Bidirectional continuous wave Doppler supplied with an 8MHz probe. It features real time colour spectral analysis as a standard feature which enhances the ability to demonstrate arterial and venous flow clearly and accurately. Stereo audio output with separate reverse and forward flows is from two loud speakers.
Six indices are displayed in real time. They are Vs, Vd, Vm, Hr, RI, PI and S/D. The pressure table feature stores all the measured pressures and brachial indices for easy reference at the touch of a button.
