The Spirobank® Smart is a 6-parameter Spirometer designed for use for remote respiratory diagnostic and monitoring - where patients with a respiratory related illness can perform their own spirometry test at home whilst under remote supervision by a healthcare professional.
The bluetooth sensor connects directly to an iOS/Android smart phone device running the free iSpirometry app.
Spirobank Smart measures PEF, FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC Ratio, FEV6 and FEF25/75.
The device offers huge benefits to both the patient and healthcare professional for better, more efficient practice. Offering remote spirometry testing can free up appointments and reduce the risk of exposing vulnerable patients to infection. Motivational graphics displayed directly on the Smart Phone, will assist the patient to perform a good and reliable spirometry test. Using internationally recognised predicted values, the app is able to determine the quality of a blow using traffic light indicators.
