The touchECG is a next generation PC ECG application, designed for Windows touch screen tablets and laptops. It allows a simultaneous view of 12 or 15 lead high quality signals on screen, and rhythm strip of continuous acquisition of up to 30 minutes. The high-resolution digital ECG signal is acquired by the HD + acquisition unit which transmits it via Bluetooth to the computer where touchECG software is installed.
Automatic interpretation and analysis of the ECG is then carried undertaken using the University of Glasgow algorithm for both adults and children with specific criteria depending on age, gender and race.
